Recent activity...
Caleb is growing up so fast! He is 17.4 lbs, 27.5 inches, in the 75th percentile for his height, the 50th percentile for his weight and the 25th for his head! He now has 2 teeth and likes to try to get away with biting me sometimes while nursing. He can get around on the floor but not crawling yet (although I don't think it's too far off!). We are dabbling with solids although he really doesn't care much about them. He has a bit of a lazy eye in his left eye and has his first eye appointment on Jan. 2nd to figure out what to do with it. His foot looks great although he is still wearing the boots and bar 22/24 hours of the day for another 8 weeks. He is a giggly, bubble blowing razzing silly baby who is such a ball of fun... this is for sure the best month yet! As far as the Christmas pictures go.... I couldn't get many as my battery died in my camera, but will post what I have soon. God bless!! Recent 6 month pictures are below.

Caleb's new "Ponseti Sandals" and more....
Caleb now has his new Sandals. He doesn't know how to sleep in them yet so we both have been having very restless nights! Last night our nice friend Cori spent the night and tended to crying Caleb while I slept!! What a God send!! Last night was his worse night yet. He has to wear them for 12 weeks night and day and then only at night. He can roll-over both to the front and back with the bar on and still enjoys tummy time.
His new thing is to fake scream. He does it several times in a day and thinks he is quite cute and funny=0)
Caleb also grew a tooth last weekend. It was a rough weekend for us as he cut it through but he now has one adorable white tooth on the bottom of his little gums.
So Caleb is an official trooper-- he grew a tooth, had a cold and had to get the boots and bar on all at the same time!!! I will post pictures today. God-bless everyone!! Pray that Caleb gets use to his bar!!!!

You can almost see all the white teeth coming in on the bottom.
He looks so grown up.. he was going to wear this shirt for Thanksgiving but he puked on it.. so he ended up wearing the outfit below.

Caleb will be 5 months next week!
My baby boy has been working hard on his bottom teeth.. from the looks of it they are all coming in at once!! Lets hope thats not the case! He now rolls over from his back to his front and he has been rolling over from his front to his back for a long time now.. since he was barely 2 months!! He also is pushing all the way up with is hands and is starting to get his butt up a little bit while doing it.. this all smells like crawling is in the near future to me (look out breakables and choking hazards!!). He is having a hard time with me being gone in the evenings and having to be in a new place almost every time I have to go to work so Im looking for a new job. I wish my current job had openings in the day but they don't=0( Caleb only has to wear his cast for 2 more weeks then he will be bound by the boots and bar. Other than that he is such a happy easy going baby and I love him sooooooooooooooooo much. I'll put up pictures soon=0)

Caleb had surgery!
Well, today turned out to be an unexpected day! Caleb and I went down to the cities (here at Gillettes children's hospital) for what we thought was a quick 1 hour appointment to determine if Caleb needed surgery on his foot or not..... 4 hours later he is in surgery 10 minutes later he is done and recovering with a big blue cast on his whole leg. They cut his heel cord and then casted him. The cast will stay on him for 3 weeks and then he will have to wear the "ponseti bar".. it is 2 little "sandals" with a bar attatched to them that Caleb will have to wear on both of his feet continuously for 6 weeks and then only at night until he is 4 years old!! I freaked out a bit at first.. the whole thing came as a shock. I am doing OK now and Caleb is snoozing in his hospital room, doing just fine. I think the whole thing is a lot harder on me than it is on him. Even when Caleb had to fast for 5 hours, he was such a trooper trying his best to be his smiley self! This too shall pass. God has been with us the whole way... YEA GOD!!! Keep us in your prayers!!
