7 months...

My baby has arrived into his 7th month! I can't believe the time has gone so quickly. We were really sick all last week but by yesterday we were at the tail end and today we are almost all the way better. He is also getting both of his top teeth at the same time, which didn't help anything.

Caleb and I have been working on his signs, yesterday was the first time he signed all by himself without any prompts "up" (he was sitting in his highchair and wanted to be picked up)... I was doing dishes and turned around to look at him and he put his arms up, it was great!! To know that my baby is communicating with me is awesome!! The hardest part of the signs and that im learning of parenting is being consistent.

The last couple times we went to the library we checked out books and song books on tape, I think I enjoy them a bit more than he does at this point but they are fun to do together. We are really excited for spring!! This really cold weather stuff has been keeping us inside more than I would like!!

I swear everyday that goes by I am more in love with my little guy than I was the day before! Being a mom is a blessing, a challenge and so much fun! Oh.... only 4 more weeks of 22/24 hours of the boots and bar!! We are on home stretch!!

Enjoy our pictures=0)

Nothing like a soak in the sink for a sore teething bottom!

"Love me, i'm cute!"
He was playing peek-a-boo with himself
My cute little napper
Helping me with the piles of laundry we acquire in a week!!

A day before he actually got sick

In the midst of being sick

Poor sick blue-eyes!

I found a good place for him to sit while I folded yet MORE laundry

This hat never got worn... now his head is too big=0(

Foot update...

We are in the cities at my sister Charlotte's house for the night, instead of driving back through rush hour traffic. The doctor said that Caleb's foot looked great and to keep doing what I have been doing (horraaay!!). Only 6 more weeks then I can cuddle my baby with free feet as much as I want to during wake time hours. I was relieved that the appointment went so well. Pray that his foot continues straightening and doesn't relapse! We'll keep you posted!!

Our update...

Things have been really good for dear Caleb and I. He is so fun. We spend our days playing, going to the library, going for walks, napping, singing, taking a bath, visiting great grandpa, and an assortment of other fun activities. I am only working 2 days a week so Caleb and I are together quite a bit. I love him dearly and he is such an easy baby!! I am blessed!! His eyes turned out fine, he doesn't need glasses as of yet. We go to the cities this wednesday to see how his foot is doing. Down below there are 3 posts. Enjoy!!=0)

Caleb's lunch turns bad....

Here it began... Yummy fruit and oatmeal

"Please!!"
"whats this?"
"Not what I really want but i guess it will do"
